Who we are

Indulge in the wisdom and depth of experience that we can bring to the table, offering keen insight tailored to elevate and refine your strategic and financial endeavors. Mike Tobin has researched, studied, modeled, invested in, launched and operated businesses over the past 18 years.

With a 15-year career in public equities investing at a prominent wealth management firm, he researched countless companies and business models — from industrials to healthcare to consumer to professional services — and successfully invested substantial client capital into selected stocks with a long-term point of view.

Upon shifting away from the investment side, Mike launched his own custom carpentry business — and as the owner/operator, ran the business from ‘A to Z’ — learning the successes and the challenges that small business owners face. Additionally, he stepped into a Director of Finance & Strategy role with an entrepreneurial team in the midst of launching and scaling 4 growing brands in the hospitality and health and wellness segments.

Through these experiences, Mike carries a unique perspective of seeing companies large and small through the eyes of both an investor and an operator, understanding what has worked and what hasn’t, contemplating strategies to grow the top line or shrink the expense base for profitability, and living and breathing the daily life of a small business owner and operator. He looks forward to applying these learnings to your own business.
